    We asked the members of the Elevated Faith team what “WWJD?” means to them personally. Here’s what they said:

    DARCI (EF Creative Director):
    “What would Jesus do?” – not just because we should be representative of Him in and to this world, but also because He will return, and it is our greatest pursuit to be a good and faithful servant of Christ. In this world but not of it ✨

    “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.”

    JOSH (EF Founder):
    My WWJD bracelet is a constant reminder to love unconditionally as Jesus loves us, despite my circumstances.

    WWJD is an everyday reminder for me to consider my thoughts and actions in a way that glorifies Jesus’ love for us. I’m often reminded of His gift of Peace. Jesus calls us to find comfort in Him and the kingdom of God, not in the world.

    MEGAN (EF Director of Product Design & Development):
    WWJD is a mindset I try to follow when faced with everyday trials, big and small. When I stop and ask myself, “What would Jesus do?” It’s a reminder to live by humility, patience, and a strong faith that everything will work itself out for the good.

    WWJD is a reminder to live life in full pursuit of God. To walk with the same courage, boldness, compassion and selfless love as Jesus did.

    WWJD is a reminder to constantly show love, grace, and forgiveness towards others even in tough moments. It’s a beautiful symbol of how Jesus does it for us time and time again. We should treat people the way that Christ treats us.

    BETHANY (EF Digital Marketing Manager):
    WWJD is a precious phrase so many of us grew up hearing. As I have gotten older, the meaning grows sweeter. “What would Jesus do?” asks the question we can apply to each action of our life. Jesus would love, He would encourage, He would be patient, He would be there for a friend (and even an enemy), and He would choose the high road in any situation. It’s an encouragement and an opportunity to live like He would.

    just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.”

    CARLY (EF Community Manager):
    For me, it’s both “what would Jesus do?” and “what Jesus did” that changes everything. When I fully walk in the revelation of what Jesus did for me, it changes how I am able to respond to others and be more like Him. It’s a heart posture 🫶

  • Welcome To Revival

    Welcome To Revival

    REVIVAL.

    Revival. It’s a word you see plastered all over every social media platform you open. It seems to be a very trendy word right now. However, not many of us know exactly what revival is and what it really looks like.

    Growing up, the word revival was a commonly used one around my house. It was something my parents have spent their lives praying for. I realized very quickly that revival isn’t just a normal church service, or an event; it’s much bigger than that. Revival is about God reviving us.

    Revival is when Heaven opens up and is poured out over a group of HUNGRY people. Revival starts with an intense hunger from people who desire God more than the world. They desire Him over their schedule, over their lunch breaks, over their time with friends. Every known revival I have studied has started with one act. Brownsville Revival, Let Us Worship, Welsh Revival, Azusa Street, and the list goes on…they all have one thing in common. They started off in a place of prayer.

    They started when one person stopped putting a time limit on God and began to pray until something happened. They prayed for hours a day, crying and weeping for a move of God. The simple recipe for revival is this: fervency in prayer.

    Revival will mess with your schedule! When we ask God to come and move on a community of people, we have to be willing to move with Him! Revival requires RELATIONSHIP with the Father! What do I mean by that? When we are totally in love with God, it becomes easy for us to sacrifice our time to Him. It becomes easy to give up normal life to wait on Him. When we are in relationship with God, there also comes a deep love for Him.

    It brings me so much joy to see revival breaking out all over America. Yet, I see the word itself used too plainly. We have to be careful and realize the weight and responsibility that comes with it. Revival comes at a cost.

    “For the eyes of the LORD roam to and fro over all the earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are fully devoted to Him.” – 2 Chronicles 16:9

    I love this verse and refer to it often. It shows that God is looking for someone who will simply say yes. You don’t have to be the most qualified; you just have to say yes. He qualifies the called. One testimony from the Asbury Revival really stood out to me. Here’s what was said: “Revival isn’t hype, it’s ordinary people going after God.” This is exactly the heart posture we should have! We don’t need well-known worship leaders, fancy lights, smoke machines, or captivating preachers. We just need Jesus!

    My friends, welcome to revival! Let’s chase after the heart of God, press into prayer, be examples of what this looks like in our generation, and let’s fan the flame.

    Love is the point; it’s the reason, and it’s always worth it.

    Let’s be people that are so convinced that we ARE loved by Him, that everything we do comes from that place.
    This will change our entire lives.

    GOD’S LOVE & LOVING OTHERS.

    God’s love isn’t just inspirational, it’s transformational.
    God’s love changes you, then it changes the way you love others.

    God’s love is patient, intentional and unique. It searches for you and seeks you out.
    It finds you as you are, right where you are, but it never leaves you the same.
    God’s love doesn’t just change your heart, it gives you a brand new one (Ezekiel 36:26).

    His love isn’t like worldly love. It doesn’t waiver. It’s unending and unconditional.
    It isn’t performance based, which means you can’t earn it.
    God’s love isn’t based on what you do, it’s based on who He is. And that changes everything.

    Can We Be Honest?

    For the one who needs permission to be honest.

    When was the last time you were really honest with God? The kind of honest that doesn’t cover up, hide or put a filter on. The kind that sets aside the time, sits down and is honest without worrying whether you’re too much or crossing the line.

    He’s God, He’s good and He’s big enough to handle it. He isn’t scared of your emotions. He knows you. He sees the things that no one else does. He sees how you’ve shown up with a smile on your face but a heart that’s broken, struggling and just going through the motions.

    To the one who needs fresh grace, a safe place and a gentle reminder, this is for you. You don’t have to hide here. He’s the Answer you’re looking for, and this is where you will find new hope, fresh faith and the strength to keep going.

    I know you’ve been through a lot, I know you’re tired and your trust has been tarnished.
    But no matter what you do, don’t stop coming to Jesus.

    “The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.” – Psalm 145:18

    Take the time to be honest with God this weekend. Spend time with Him and let Him in.

    What does the Bible say about… New Beginnings?

    NEW BEGINNINGS.

    There’s something about the calendar starting over again that feels like a fresh start. It’s exciting and refreshing. The month of January is infused with new motivation, inspiration, vision and energy. Gym memberships, health kicks, dreams, goal setting and long to-do lists.

    But eventually, the novelty wears off. Old habits sneak their way back in, and most people have altogether given up come springtime. As Christians, we are called to be good stewards and that includes our habits, our time, our gifts and God-given vision.

    So, how can we stay disciplined and keep that “New Year zeal” alive for all 12 months? Well, I have good news: We serve a God who specializes in making all things new ✨🙌 Let’s see what the Word of God has to say about new beginnings, shall we?

    Here is what the Bible has to say about new beginnings:

    Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

    How do you want to remember Christmas 2022 when you look back on it years from now?

    Remember that it’s not a competition. Memories matter more than material things. And it really is the thought, intention and heart behind what you give that matters the most.

    Everyone wants to be seen, remembered and thought of. How can you do that for someone else? Years later, they likely won’t remember the gift, but they will never forget the way you made them feel.

    So give, show up and love one another the best you possibly can 🫶 “Do everything in love.” – 1 Corinthians 16:14

    Let’s start the last month of 2022 tracing the evidence of His fingerprints this year while praying and preparing with expectation for what He will do in 2023.

    No matter what this year looked like for you, if you’re reading this right now, you’re alive.
    You have a heart that’s beating, and lungs that are breathing, and you have a purpose.
    God’s not done with you; He’s just getting started.

    Whatever feels stale, ask Him to breathe on it. Dry bones come to life, ashes become something beautiful,
    and in the desert He makes streams and He does new things.

    Print off these prompts, and take time to pray over them and press into them. Pour your heart out to Him;
    He’s a safe place for you to process, and He will never leave you where you’re at – that’s a promise (Deut. 31:8).
